DESCRIPTION:(information from thefirstacademy.org website) \nThursday\, November 7\, 2024\, at 10:00 am\nFirst Orlando Worship Center – 3000 South John Young Parkway Orlando\, FL 32805\nThe First Academy will host a Veterans & Grandparents Celebration on Thursday\, November 7\, 2024\, at 10 am. A complimentary continental breakfast will also be held prior to the celebration for Veterans and their spouses. Veterans\, please RSVP here. \nThis combined celebration will be a day filled with gratitude\, joy\, and shared stories as we honor the service and sacrifices of our veterans\, and the wisdom and love of our grandparents. Whether you’re a veteran\, a grandparent\, or someone who simply wants to join in the festivities\, this will be a special day for everyone! \nThis schoolwide special event will include special tributes to our veterans and grandparent appreciation activities. Grandparents are invited to sit with their grandchildren for the celebration. Lower School grandparents may sit with their grandchild’s class. If Middle and Upper School grandparents would like to sit with their grandchild(ren)\, they may sign them out in First Orlando’s Gathering Place lobby prior to the start of the celebration at 9:50am with Mrs. Austin (Middle School Assistant) and then sit in one of the labeled “Open Seating” areas. \nFollowing the celebration\, grandparents with grandchildren in any of our TFA divisions are invited to sign out their grandchild(ren) to spend the rest of the day with them. We look forward to celebrating with you and creating lasting memories as we honor the legacy of our veterans and the generations of love our grandparents have shared.
