Celebration Veterans Club Is Back After a Well-Earned Summer Break!

Monthly membership meetings resume this fall, with a free pizza social at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting at 6:30 p.m. All current members and new veterans are welcome. Come for the pizza. Stay for the brothers and sisters in arms!

November is the big patriotic stretch: Happy Hour, the Holiday Banquet at Artisan Park, and Veterans Day with the parade at Lakeside, the ceremony at Founders Park, and lunch afterward.
|
December closes the year with Happy Hour and the last membership meeting of 2026 at Town Hall.
|
And 2027 is already filling up. Club meetings, Happy Hours, the pig roast, Memorial Day, more Honor Flight support, and the rest of the annual traditions are on the books. If you served, there is a seat for you.

Two Can’t-Miss Dates at Shades of Green
|
|
If you have ever eaten breakfast with this club, you already know: the Shades of Green buffet is not a quiet meal. It is veterans catching up over eggs, bacon, and those Mickey waffles, swapping sea stories, and filling the room with the kind of laughter you only get from people who have served. Our bi-annual breakfast on Saturday, September 26, 2026 is one of the most popular events of the year. Come hungry! Sign up here for the Shades of Green buffet.

Then, two weeks later, we switch from coffee to steins. Oktoberfest at Shades of Green is Friday, October 9, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.—pretzels, sausages, German food, and a cold beer with your fellow veterans. Registration details will be coming. This one fills up fast for a reason. Tickets are not available from Shades of Green but we'll keep you posted when you can buy them.
